As we move through the summer, we want to thank you for your continued support and engagement with the fire district.  2026 has been a busy year for the district, bringing many challenges and opportunities.  The district has begun the process to replace the Main Fire station in Welches through a GO Bond generously provided by you, the patrons of the district and through a partnership with the USFS Mt. Hood National Forest.

The district responded to 994 requests for emergency service in 2024, fulfilling our key mission of providing emergency services to the community, while also participating in the state’s response to the many wildfires across Oregon this past fire season.

As we move into the fall season (from t-shirts to sweatshirts), we want to thank you for your continued support and engagement with Hoodland Fire District #74. It has been a busy fire season for all of Oregon and while we are nearing the end, I am asking you all to remember we still have a bit to go.
